The Specialized Mindset was a headset that Specialized used in the late 2000s through early 2010s on some of their road and cross bikes. The Mindset is already designed to accept a regular IS41/28.6 | IS41/30 Headset. You will need to remove the cage bearing cups and use anywhere from 1.5- 4mm of shim spacers to prevent the bearing cover from bottoming out on the frame.
