With the new, more compact package of the Next Gen Coil IL over the Previous Gen version, the new shock finally fits the popular Transition Spur. The small - medium sizes of the first generation (2020-2025) Transition Spur require a taller spring clip to clear the frame. Follow this link to purchase part number AAD1713K on our website. The new, second generation Spur (2026 model) has even more limited fitment. Both Air and Coil IL shocks ONLY fit in the LOW flip chip position and do not require the alternate spring clip. 

If you are ordering a shock directly from us, please contact us directly first so we can help make sure you have the correct spring clip for your frame. If you have picked up a shock elsewhere, please confirm frame clearance before running the shock on your frame and if need be, you can get that spring clip directly from us, any of our authorized service centers or through your local bike shop.
